Elementary Environment

A child who is 6-12 years old is suitable to be part of Elementary environment. At this age he/she is already aware of toddler and primary Montessori environments. Elementary aged children can typically be characterized by their curious minds, ability to abstract and imagine, moral and social orientation and energy for research and exploration. Elementary children work in small, mixed-age groups on a variety of projects and concepts that spark the imagination, engage the intellect and develop reasoning abilities. They frequently get involved into research and discussion. Field trips are arranged so that the children are not restricted in their learning. They help to organize these visits to gain real-life knowledge.

The curriculum is designed accordingly and consists of Arithmetic, Geometry, Culture, Science, English and other Languages.
